This Friday night in Telfords Warehouse, Chester [Best Bar 2009 Chester Food and Drink Awards] the precociously talented-Kryptics [ http://myspace.com/dirtydumbkryptics ] will be splashing colour and uptempo melodic joy all over our stage. They're exuberant, young and remarkably talented, and call to mind prime Bowie, early Supergrass and T-Rex.
Have an .mp3:

I'll be playing an unpretentious, day glo mix of indierockpopsoulreggaepunk classics from all eras. A runaway school disco for people who love their music 'up', bright and pumped full of melody.
It will be the ultimate antidote to the times.
Please get any requests to me by the end of today [Thursday].
Either as a comment on Facebook, or an e-mail to: themysterytour@gmail.com
Be seeing you,

[ on a totally different tip, you're invited to check out my most recent radio show via the BBC iPlayer - it's a fascinating look at the world of Welsh electronic music, featuring contributions from the brilliant Gallops (in session), Acid Casuals, pixelh8, Martin Carr (Boo Radleys, bravecaptain), concretedog, Annalogue & Little Eris:
